Audience Feedback

Once I had completed editing I created a questionaire to get feedback from my target audience. I then proceeded to show it to the rest of my class and collected their response. The results are detailed below.
Do you think the film works as a stand-alone film?
Response
1: 0
2: 0
3: 1
4: 4
5: 1
General Comment: Yes it does, narrative become clearer towards the end.

Does the music in the first section fit the sequence?
Response Does the music in the second section fit the sequence?
1: 0
2: 0
3: 2
4: 1
5: 3
General Comment: Yes it does, maybe slightly fast paced.
Response
1: 0
2: 0
3: 1
4: 3
5: 2
General Comment: Nice as background music, suits mood of the film.

I have tried to suggest that the conversation with the male character is existing in the female character’s head. To do this I have chosen to put a blue tint on shots with him so that it suggests something is not quite right.
Does the blue tint on the shots with the male character work?
Response
Yes: 5
No: 1
General Comment: Needs to be more obvious, transition into/out of it needs to be smoother.
Do you think it appeals to both male and female audiences?
Response
Yes: 6
No: 0
General Comment: Yes it does, good approach to subject matter.
As you can see fromk the data above the feedback was very positive and the only minor changes I had to make were making the dream sequence more obvious with the use of a darker blue tint and effects. I also asked for some quick verbal feedback and the thing that everyone said didn't work was the shots I had replaced the missing shots with which I had to change so that they worked.
